What we process

When you book we process your name, e-mail address, phone number, country, stay dates, number of guests and the text of your message. During your stay we also keep the guest register to the extent required by law.

Purpose and legal basis

• Handling the booking and providing accommodation – performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Keeping the guest register and accounting records – legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Communicating with you before and during the stay – legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention

Booking data is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and then for the period required by accounting and tax law (normally 10 years). Unconfirmed requests are deleted within 12 months.

Recipients

We do not sell your data or pass it to third parties for marketing. It is shared only with our hosting provider and our accountant, in each case under a data processing agreement. If you booked via Booking.com or Airbnb, those platforms' own privacy policies also apply.

Cookies

This site uses no third-party advertising or tracking cookies. We store only the technically necessary data needed for the booking form and the admin login to work.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object. Send requests to info@chalettatry.sk. If you believe we process your data unlawfully you may lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority.
